A friend of mine bought an used PI JDM Honda a few years ago. It was about 1.5 years old.

Shortly after, he was pleasantly surprised when he received a letter from LTA informing him that his OMV has been increased by $6k,.

I bought my car from Vincar, and I followed their service schedule throughout the warranty period.

Note that I modded my car vehemently during this period, and I made it known to MBM, via my mod diary in this forum...............

I think it is about communicating with MBM's management. Talk to Kelvin Lim - he is a fair and reasonable person.

OT. vincar and mbm are connected?

MBM is contracted to service Vincar's cars.

thanks guys for advise...i guess nothing much i can do

anyway..i saw the 41k wrongly...it was omv of my old car...the original receipt did not have 39-41k stated...however...at the point of purchase..there was a similiar blue 135 on sale for 146k...however alot of the pi said tat was due to its low omv of 37k....tats why i clearly remember vincar telling me they cant do it at 146k due to omv being too low...just feel kinda cheated tat now my omv is lower ..

anyway..i saw the 41k wrongly...it was omv of my old car...the original receipt did not have 39-41k stated...however...at the point of purchase..there was a similiar blue 135 on sale for 146k...however alot of the pi said tat was due to its low omv of 37k....tats why i clearly remember vincar telling me they cant do it at 146k due to omv being too low...just feel kinda cheated tat now my omv is lower ..

cheated might be too strong a word.
ultimately u had wait many months. alot of changes can happen

thats the reason for a contract. no point in black and white if they come back with dif specs, price and ask u to swallow it. they have already secured his COE 5 months back. everything else shld have been a constant.

If u read his previous post, there is no contract on OMV.
Only selling price is fixed.

So there is nothing to complain about.

thats sounds more plausible. dun think any1 will actually place their bet on what exact omv might turn out to be
