Yup. When I took out my plugs at 40k to change them to the Volker plugs, one of them was already corroded. And can you imagine I was told by PML that they're supposed to last till Inspection 2?WTF?T6 said:What is your mileage bro? Fuel pump usually dun fail at low mileage. Stock spark plugs from PML dun last that long hor.
wear & tear of fuel pump are not that common thou, let alone if miledge is not high. 25k on the clock can change plugs liow! if you're talking abt stock plugs, no need even to re-gap them. don't dunno leh anymore, drive down to any of the listed workshop for a quick check, kau dim!darkavgr said:Just serviced by PML last mth (as still under warranty).

Incidentally, Even tho only 22k, my rear tyres already botak
T6 said:Bro, at 22,000km, I dun think it shd be the fuel pump at all. If spark plugs is indeed the cause (a mechanic can verify easily), now is yur chance to switch to Volker plugs. Do a search and read forummers' feedback.
The fact that the rear of your tires are botak and if u are not the first owner cld be because the previous owner does alot of hard driving drifting etc hehe or he passed on the good tyres to someone else before selling the car to u.
hi, so how much does it cost for the replacement of ur engine mounting??Nedkelly said:Ya... I had the same vibration problem with my 2002 E46 as well. Went to BVO, 1 hour job to get the engine mounting replaced and wa la... could not even feel the engine idling after that.. in fact for the next couple of days after i did the change, sometimes when I stop at traffic light junctions.. I even had to check my rpm just to be sure that my engine is still running...

alright, thanks very muchNedkelly said:The engine mounting for both sides - $140. I did some other stuff as well, so the labour for the engine mounting portion I estimate about $50-60. Total about 200 bucks plus minus...

They changed the ignition coil which they claim crapped out.
