USB port can't chargeiphone

Hi bros,

I just goten the e93.
Use the usb port to charge ipod...works fine.
Thought it should charge iphone too, but I was wrong.

Any of you have same problem?

Any suggestion how to solve?

Yes. You need a Griffin charge adaptor. iStudio sells it.

i think iphone needs a slightly higher voltage to charge compared to ipod. That's why some of the ipod chargers don't work for iphone.

I'm using this one. Very small and charges quite fast.

Reason that the BMW iPod adapters do not charge iPhones and later G iPods is because Apple changed it's system from FireWire to USB. The Griffin charge adaptor converts the wiring to allow for charging, eliminating the need for a seperate car charger, while facilitating music playback thru the car stereo.
