Upgrade ICE but keep stock HU

My ride is an 2003 e39 with stock (integrated) GPS & HU.
Want to upgrade it but have a few questions:

1. basic upgrade wd be to change the speakers.
Front speakers are door mounted while back is on the back-board (not on rear doors)
For the F, I think the size is 5.25", so if I don't want any cutting, I shd be buying 5.25"
speakers..correct?
What are the options/brands for 5.25" & cost?

For the rear, if w/o cutting I was told that i also need 5.25"
If 6.5", I'll need to cut. Is this correct?

2. With stock HU, can I just install a 4 ch amp to drive the new speakers?
Also can I install another 2 ch amp to drive a sub?
I know its possible if I install a processor/DSP (eg alpine H701) but is it possible w/o the H701?

Bro,

Your case is like mine. Because of the GPS, we cannot change head unit. Not sure if u have heard my ICE but those who have said "not bad" keke. Anyway, my entire set of ICE has been taken down and now stored at Hong Guan when I exported my ride 3 weeks back. These ICE were bought and installed for more than $10k a few year back.

The ICE set-up comprises:

2 tweeters,
2 front speakers from Focal,
2 rear speakers from CDT,
2 x 12" free-air subwoofers,
1 x McIntosh amp (to drive the speakers),
1 x Cadence amp (to drive the woofers),
2 x Cadence capcitors,
plenty of expensive cables.

I dunno the brand for the tweeters and woofers (I think Momentum/Flash). Need to check with Hong Guan.
