SC still need to Unichip or reflash though. Cannot run stock mapping.

the good thing is that rodney opens from 7pm till late... he has a job in the day too... workshop is his hobby...
we can still meet up for late kopi or something. promise we won't go through the usual initiation rites with you. so no blood involved... haha...
gimme a call when you're free... will also introduce the infamous uncle jeff to you...
another opportunity will be the meetup at the end of this week.

Exactly the same dilemma i faced. Ended up with Unichip coz my ECU couldn't be detected for reflashing (why not, even the workshops don't know.... maybe my ECU running on Linux? whahaha....).
Heard reflashing's the best, but i've no complaints with my Unichip yet.... surprisingly difference can be felt.

I opted for Unichip as well.
Wasn't looking for outright massive gains.
It's just an NA car after all...
But rather to optimise/smoothen the curves.
Once my intake & exhaust were upgraded.
My take - you can't go too wrong with either.
Just do your own CBA.
