Hi everyone,

I've got a unichip Q for sale. You'll need to get someone to fix it up and tune it at your own expense, but the chip itself is available for a song. $500. Please give me a call at HP 90010739 if you are keen thanks.

Rgds.

Re: Unichip Q for sale

Bro, I think you are new to the chip tuning idea and thus far have not heard of the unichip.

The prefix 'uni' in the name 'unichip' means universal which means that it can be used for any car. You can use it in a lousy perodua if you like, it will boost it too, all the way to a ferrari (although a ferrari's stock ecu maps should be pretty close to the limits anyway). Powerbox is just another chip device, that's all. There are a few leading brands out there like dinana, jim confortti, WAR, Megasquirt, Unichip, etc.

Unichip is just another brand. It all depends on the skills of the chip tuner to unlock the best for your car without burning the engine down. Most professional tuners will know how to do it safely, ask around for who has the best reputation if that is critical to you. The best way is to get the car tuned on a dynamometer (expensive), the faster and way cheaper method is to get them to load preprepared tuned maps they have onto you car.....this is a good idea if you car is purely stock i.e. you've not changed your injectors, intake manifolds, exhaust, turbo, blah blah....all of which require actual dyno tuning to be done properly.

Save your overall cost by buying this chip here cheap and passing it to your tuner to tune. Good luck.
