GP, it all boils down to cost cutting measures. When it comes to reducing the OMV of the car, dealers will try to spec the car down to as cheal as possible. Look even the 3 series dun come with cruise control even. Usually the buggers will cut here cut there....

if got possibility, they will import the car with steel rims and fit alloys over here. Spare Parts does not attract and additional ARF and so their profit margins are higher. The bad thing is that none of these addons goes into you paper value and hence when you sell, got very little residual value.
