Ultra Performance Engine Oil

Hi guys,

Need to tap the expert minds amongst us.

I know the topic of engine oil has been extensively debated and the conclusion is "do what you feel most comfortable"..............

I have been introduced to this new breed of engine oil using nano-technology. Attached the website for info:

http://www.revolution-titanium.com/en/FAQs/tabid/60/Default.aspx

my questions are:

1. Isit true that we should only use BMW 5W-30 or Mobil 1 0W-40 as far as possible as it suits our engine best?

2. This new oil is 5W-50. So can we use it or not? and its not cheap, approx $60/litre but expected to work 20000km..... worth it???

3. If we dont change oil for 20000km - 25000km........... oil can take it, but what about the oil filter? does it need to be changed at 10000km?

4. any other recommendations??????

Thanx hor.

Re: Ultra Performance Engine Oil

Hi Osprey,

Are you talking about the Titanium Plus oil from Royz?

If yes, I am already using it. Yes, it is rather expensive, but I feel it is worth it. I'm driving an E90 320i, and changed my oil and filter at 2,500km (after running in), and now, the car feels quieter, smoother and better fuel consumption than before. What I intend to do now is, to use this oil until the scheduled servicing based on my OBC at 29,000km, as I did not have my OBC reset during the oil change. If you have any other questions, feel free to pm me.

Cheers,
Larry
