Bro, brand alone hard to poll because within each brand, there are performance tyres and there are comfort tyres. Some brands are also more expensive than others. If u are looking for new tyres, perhaps you can let us know what are your requirements in order of priority e.g. performance, noise level, comfort level, durability (as in whether you want the tyres to last long) etc and bros here can then offer their views.

Also, you can consider using the search engine to trace back previous threads and discussions on this subject matter. You might find some of them useful.

IMHO...the new Pirelli Dragon is good value for money.

Last nite down pour...was doing 100kmh on AYE...no aquaplanning. So I guess the wet performance is above average.

I am on 235/45/17. Price is 189 per piece bought from SE Tyre.

Hi T6... am currently on CONTINENTAL sports contact II.. and am not polling because i need new tyres... just wanted to know if MICHELIN is more popular with u guys here... :) :) :) Because i kinda like e profile of their pilot preceda... cheers :wavey:

Pilot preceda is good if u r looking for a decent handling performance and yet offer very good level of comfort and low noise.

100kmh most tyres wont aquaplan one lah. even when i'm on the so-called Falken semislicks RT215, i dont start to aquaplan until 130kmh.

but then my width is only 215cm lah. maybe that helps.

Add to that,

I'm on 235/35/19 fronts & 255/30/19 rears (Pirelli Rossos). Won't aquaplan until 140.

Cheers! :wavey:
