while browsing e90post, i chance upon this tyre setup for e90 lci

bridgestone re11 -> 225/45/18 & 255/40/18

i understand e90 oem setup for 18" is -> 225/40/18 & 255/35/18

when i change tyres, may be i can try

a. 225/45 & 255/40 -> same as what i just discovered

or

b. 235/45 & 265/40 (not sure this setup is available) -> i understand the common setup is 235/40/18 & 265/35/18

any issues?

The rolling diameter of your tyre would change - affects your speedometer.

Wider profile means more rolling resistance. Better handling and take-off but less speed in the straight run and less fuel economy.
