I need to replace my tyres on my e92. Currently using CSC3.

I know PS2 will be a popular response but wondering if there is something else not as expensive as i dont plan to go to track and am a pretty conservative driver on singapore roads.

need front 235/35/19 and rear 265/30/19.

thanks in advance.

Bridgestone RE11........

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

Cheaper than PS2, CSC3. Around F1's range.

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

im switched from ps2 to pzero now. lighter bit..n just as brilliant in the dry. slightly better in the wet. i just did a Ebrake in wet last nite on the road hogger to prove.

csc3/ps2/pzero r the lightest in the mkt. the rest r heavy

bridgestone RE070.

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

have not been successful tracking down Bridgestone in those mentioned sizes...maybe PM me for shop contact will be interested.

your rear size will be very hard to find for GY FI A/S...they usually stock 275s

not tried the Yoko Advan RS...saw one of same size yesterday V groove

all budget ones are Dunlop Sportmaxx, & falken that i m aware of

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

go wif the new F1 if cheaper than the RE11. If really same, surely go for the RE11..that extra dry grip is a plus.

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

Well in 19s, how much does GY Asym cost vs. Yokohama Advan? I know PS2 cost nearly $2700 a set staggered>>>Beng will not buy this in future. More costly than condoms.

they cost round about the same. the PS2's always cost more than its competitors.

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

Anyone tried the Falken RT615 before? I am thinking of switching my Toyo R888 as the noise is simply unbearable... Sound like a airplane everytime I slow down or going to a halt ...

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

Toyo R888 isnt a street tire at all, it is highly semi slick wif little grooves so expect to have those humming noisy sound.

RT615 is a good tire. I hv used two sets and was never disappointed wif it. It's street tire for light track use. Not noisy at all, u wont find the noise u experienced in the Toyo.

Another alternative is the new Potenza RE11.
I am currently on the predecessor RE01R and the new one is supposedly better. I wil try next time.

Re: Tyre Recommendations for my e92

I ordered the RE11 but some said heavy wor....... I am getting the tyre shop to weigh various brand of same sizes.......

TripleM: Just got the RT615 base on your recommendation, got to run in 1st 500km and will provide feedback, hopefully cornering can be as good as the R888 as the block seems to be pretty big too...
