The facelifted cars uses the screw...

The preFL car has got the spring to remove the side indicator..

Depending on your car, the spring one might or might not fit cos the side indicator is attached to the headlight.

So if u divert from the original one, ur headlight needs to be replaced as well...
 
Apparently the prefacelifts one uses the screw. I think that's the problem I'm facing, the new headlights are meant for the spring loaded version and my corners are the screw in type.
Any idea how much it'll cost to get just the corners and the retrofit kit.
The current set on my car is on T-loan from the workshop that I the job at.
 
For OEMS white light replacement, Pre-face lift definitely uses the spring types...
anyway - the shape of the lights are completely different, as the panels are different. Your ride (using screw) is facelifted.

you can get spring type clears from brudders in the forum
 
It's a end 02 model year coupe. Not facelifted yet. I've seen some Bimmers in Canada with the screw taillights.
