Tray Compartment Above Gear Box

Hi Guys,

I'm driving the LCI e90 and the tray above the gear box is an open concept as compared to the pre-fl e90 which is a close tray.

Anyone know if it is possible to change to to a close tray like the pre-fl e90?

Please advise me~ Thanks!

get the tray cover from eng soon and install at one of the site sponsor workshop
if you are good in DIY, google and install it by yourself
if your like carbon fibre, get the CF cover from Robson (incl installation)

Yes I got mine from Eng Soon and installed at Robson cos change to cf cover. However, do take note that you still have to buy the entire tray and cover from Eng Soon first. You only have a 1-1 change from your original cover with the cf cover at Robson. Robson not selling the entire unit.

I been finding out more information about the tray and i seen a picture that it could be converted into a cigarette lighter socket? is it true?

i got mine from eng soon too.. abt 60 bucks for the tray and the cover.. YEAP.. theres a cigarette lighter socket too, but space will be compromised..

I think price had increased due to inflation.

Spectacle Tray is $45, cover is $24. Total $69, plus GST nett price is $73.83

Hi, does that means there must be some wiring done in order for the socket to work?

Eng Soon is located along Serangoon Road (in Bendemeer area). Its a shophouse, directly opposite One St Michaels condo if I"m not mistaken...

I was there last week, they do not have any stocks of this. In fact, I had a hard time trying to explain what I'm looking for. They dun seem to know what I'm talking about when I mentioned covered tray vs open tray in LCI models.

Finally, they gave up & walked over to my car to see what I"m taLKing about...then the guy said no stocks, got to order.

So, for those bros who managed to buy from ES & install, I got the following questions:

Is it just a tray or does it comes as a whole piece that sits along the gear area?

How easy/difficult is the installtion process?

If you're comfy with DIY, its DIY-able, even w the cigar lighter..
