Re: Toyo tires ok?

T1R is a bit dated so u might be getting old stock... also i heard from a fren who used to use them that it's not good in the wet

1 yr = 20k km? Dat's quite fast wear.

If you're gg for Bridgestones, why not consider S03? :)

Re: Toyo tires ok?

get the potenza re002. those rubbers look really really promising.

Re: Toyo tires ok?

S03 still can get? Which shop is carrying it?

Japanese tyres like AD08 and RE11 are good in grip, but wear rate and squarish shoulder blocks (may rub). I think tyre noise can be subjective in this aspects....

European brands like PSS and CEC DW are more expensive, but better wear rate.

City Tyre offered it to me though they did mention these were old stock and limited sizes. this was abt 3 mths back. they dun carry it at the shop so if u want it, they will indent from their warehouse.

Hope this helps

Re: Toyo tires ok?

my own view

cheap (buy, use and change later if don't like) = GT Radial (indonesia)
value for money = Hankook V12 or S1 (korea)
mid-to-high price = goodyear F1 (germany), bridgestone (japan)
branded and expensive = csc5/5P, michelin ps2 or pss (pilot super sport, latest model)

I think you better be wary of their inventory......

S03 stopped production at least 5 years ago......

Yeah, i think S03s ended production sometime in 2006. I didn't take the S03s then bcoz i personally dun wanna risk tyres >1.5 yrs past production date due to the rubber hardening. But I have to say the price given was indeed tempting.

Off topic a little, anyone know the current successor to the Goodyear Revspec RS02? Best all-round tyre i've tried IMHO.

Re: Toyo tires ok?

Sorry for being himbo?

Sorry which tyres should I choose?

Re: Toyo tires ok?

What you need? Comfort, low noise, wet/dry grip, wear rate?
