Hi guys,

Just changed over to TORCO SR-5 last week in my Subie and Rod added in a bottle of MPZ into the oil just to make things slippery. As promised, the car purrs and actually feels smoother while at the same time punchier. I cannot ascertain how much more power but to my ears, the engine note has changed significantly

The normal subaru wail is now subdued and i like the way the car pulls all the way to the rev limit..:naughty:

As the spooling comes in earlier, you can't help but squeezing the accelerator for more......

I am a happy man..:D

Hi dave, since it's your first experience with TORCO, ask for the MPZ concentrate. (It looks like milk tea) Pour it into the engine oil during the oil top up. thereafter set the MPZ into the engine by completing 3 sets of pulls. 1 set comprises of WOT acceleration runs in the first 3 gears till red line.

Had it on my e46 M ytd, the experience was much smoother than before especially on high rev.. The BEST thing is at one short of 10-12laps..Oil temp only hit 120deg and didnt go up further..Whereas previously on TWS, it hit 120+deg (with no addtional cooler), close to 140deg..

On my CTR ytd, highest oil temp was only 113deg..

haha rod, I think sent you a pm a few months back, I'm on 34,000km now. will send it in at 36,000km. is it still under general oil change? I checked my service booklet, it says that on the 3rd oil-change service, PML will check the fuel tank and some other stuff.

MPZ concentrate can only use with Torco? or can i just buy the MPZ concentrate only ? Cos I'm still using my Amsoil 5-30W till end of this year then i can go to Torco oil.

You can use the MPZ concentrate in all engine oils. That's the fun part. But we will recommend a swap over to torco to fully get the benefits. The choice is yours..
