Tire lights come on>???!

I am going up to Malaysia on the weekend.....
I decided to change my 20" back to my 17" Run flats....
Did that an hour ago.... with 2 mins.... an indicater came on saying that my tire is flat.....
Check but it is ok mah!
is there a reset thingy that I miss out on my i-drive???

Help! brothers!

u need to do the tyre reset thingy. urs is a five, not sure how u reset, but for 3 series its on the left indicators lights stick.

If its E60, go to the central iDrive menu ->push it down once and look for the tyre menu. Can't recall the whole menu at the top of my head.

go to IDRIVE. Go to vehicle settings. On the page where you set your steering wheel buttons. navigate to other options on that menu and you will see RPA.

Click intialize and when it says initializing.... start to drive your car and it will calibrate and become active after that.

If I am not wrong, you have to do it when the car is stationary !

yes stationary when you are doing the setting. You need to drive off after that immediately.

Just to add, pump your tires again to set to the required tyre pressure, in case there is really some leakage between your last pump and resetting. Then press Reset before driving off. It will show "Initializing" for quite a long while before it turns to "Active".
