time spent on car wash

hi bros

i was wondering how often and how much time are spent on your car washing sessions.

i wash my car every sunday, but there has been a lot of rain recently so it has became a fortnightly event.

i usually spent about 1.5 hrs,water flush the the whole car,shampoo wash the car,water flush again,dry it and final detailing.

no waxing as i am using klasse sealant,which are applied every 2 months by the klasse groomers.

so far so good,paint still looks the same the first day i got it.and a simple shampoo wash makes the car paint shining new.no need for waxing.

i usually clean my car on sat. mornings or afternoons...around 2-3hrs each time... wash n wax n interior

RIM wash - anywhere from 10 mins to 1 hour

Entire Car external - 1 hour including drying off

Inside Car - never clean(let people vacuum maybe once every 2 weeks)

Spa For Cars washes it once a week.

I tried to wash it myself, but despite my best efforts, I can't even do it 1/2 as good as them. So might as well let them do it.

So about 45 mins spent each week watching other people wash it...

i prefer to wash myself cause that will make you feel more connected with the car.and also it makes me feel justified that i am taking good car of it.

1 hr max for me....personal best is 3 cars in 2.5 hours including drying up, muscleache all over after that.

for me is twice a week at Spa For Cars, every wed and sat .. but i just got farked by my dad for having a dirty car.. knnz.. i think i'll have to add mon in..

Once a week for me if my car doesn't kena the rain during the week. Average time taken to wash my car on weekends is about 2 - 2.5 hrs. I'll clean and shine my interior, wash the tyres and rims, spray the undercarriage, hose the car down, wash the car with diluted car wax, dry the car and polish one panel of the car (different panels each week).

ps. Not forgetting my smoke break in between.

Yes, no lifer. Especially when there are no EPL soccer to watch. Take the 1 hour as a work-out session.

As for my GFs, sometimes they will help out. I like to see those tank-tops wet.

Dry weather, no rain.....wash once every 2 days......

Dirty car - 3~4hrs

Clean car - 2hrs

That's why my car is so white......kekekekeke

i also wash my car once it got into a rain. But Quick Detailer it daily.

Raining doesn't mean wash and waste effort as it's going to rain again. Actually the rain is not clean and after a downpour, you stroke your finger againest the body, u will get a dirty finger plus a visible dirt line on your car, because the rain is dirty.

Do you bathe after you get wet in the rain ? why ? because the rain water is DIRTY.

I dunno where my dad got the idea of RAINING SEASON wash car = waste effort.

Stage 1 : Wash > Wax Remove > Claybar > Wash > Glaze > Wash > Glaze if still got scratches or else Sealent (4-5hrs)
Stage 2 : Wash > Claybar > Sealent (2hrs)
Stage 3 : Wash > Sealent (1hrs)
Stage 4 : Wash > Sealent (1hrs)
Stage 5 : Wash > Wax (1hrs)
Stage 6 : Wash > Wax (1hrs)
Stage 7 : Wash > Wax (1hrs)
Stage 8 : Wash > Wax (1hrs)

All stages done day by day. So total 8 days.

After all the 8 stages, I will be washing and quick detail it 2-3 day depending on usage of my car.

Will start all stages again after I feel the wax is dull or I see scratches appears. Normally it's 6-8 monhs only I repeat all the stages again.

I hate washing black car, but i love the deep deep glossy.
