'Tiak/Tuck' Sound When Start E60

dear all,

I experienced a 'tiak/tuck' sound whenever I start the engine. It sounds like coming from the beneath and behind the car, around the gear area. It goes off after just one 'tuck' sound.

Currently driving a fairly new 523i, any kind souls here have any clues?

my dads e60 almost 2 years old but still no such problem..

Engineers at PML just brushed it off as a common issue for this marque. They too have no solutions nor idea to what causes the single 'sound'

After jacking the whole car up at my own workshop and viewing the undercarriage while starting the car, a certain flywheel (or circular disc) seems to move once instead of locking into place (which I reckon is suppose to be the case)

The last time i'm in for the servicing, the people in pml told me that there should be a recall program in sep08 to solve this so call "software issue".
