Not a fan of SUVs, so no, no X-series of any kind for me. If I needed a utility car, I'd get a Touring. 3 or 5. I will only get an SUV if I needed to go offroad on a regular basis - in which case I'd go for a Freelander or Disco. Or if it's really for very rough use - the Defender....

me dont like... i dont like small SUV.... i think if u wanna go for SUV..have to go all out and buy the biggest one u can get...

Actually what I am amazed at are the hubbies who buy huge-arse SUVs for their wives who obviously cannot handle the bulk of the vehicle. Or the ladies themselves who choose big SUVs even though they know they will struggle with the bulky dimensions.
Saw this show in the UK - couple were intending to buy a Range Rover just cos 'the neighbour had one' were given like a week with the RR and then an E500 Wagon to try out. Cameras followed the wife on the school run with the kids - struggled to manoeuvre the car through London's tight streets, couldn't park the car for her life - she attempted to park into a space the size of TWO parallel lots and FAILED after like 4 or 5 attempts and finally gave up. Plus the constant harassment from the green folk placing stickers, flyers and such on their cars to campaign against large SUVs. Conversely, it was super smooth-sailing when she had the E500 Wagon - no parking problems, none whatsoever manoeuvring the car. She even said she liked the car.
End of program, couple in front of camera asked which car they were going to buy:
"RANGE ROVER". :errrrrrr:

From what I understand, the size and displacement is almost the same as X3 cuz I think the next-gen X3 gets an update in its size. (Audi Q5?)
@ Kenntona: It's slated to release end of this year I think, but the only colours available is Alpine White and Havanna Brown!

but hor, in singapore xDrive or 4WD is largely irrelevant as you won't go on muddy grass patches or offroad much what. and if there's rain, it will of course save your ass from crashing but nowadays, ESP and TC does most of the job from preventing you from crashing what. so i think that PML should just bring in the sDrive models ^^

Yes they should, but do you think they will at the beginning?
I dun even agree with buying SUVs, 4WD or 2WD, in a city setting but does that stop people from snapping them up?
It's all prolonging the products' life cycle, they way the release models.

omg!! cant be for real. dun u hate driving behind that big cayenne? or some toyota prado? u cant c anything...i kenna chiet so many times by minis n matrix n wish bcos i got stuck behind mpvs n suvs....i cant see anything at all....LL stay in lane.
