The E90 Hunt

Hi. Looking for my first BMW this weekend. Looking at '06/ '07 320i or X3.
Budget 80 to 90k. Reluctantly hitting the sgcarmart dealers as I've got an SUV to trade in.
Any advice on what to look out for from you BMW veterans out there?

obviously the paint work. can tell in an instant if it was done by a good body shop.

if its 320, pay attention to the transmission. shld not show signs of abrubt down shifting. also, when starting up the car, there shld not be too long a crank b4 the engine fires up.

run over potholes and detect if there r loads of rattling noises coming from the doors.

for 320i try to get the highline version. save on Xenon headlights and other lighting stuff. u don't want to understand what i been through with a basic 320i

PPSL safer choice imho......72points checks plus warranty = peace of mind.

Might cost a little more though..... but lessen headaches.
