Quite an interesting series of a privateer building an AM V8 Vantage for the Nur 24hr race in 9 mths. The Schrick name should be familiar to some of you guys.

You may remember racer Tim Schrick who along with Sabine Schmitz and another guy hosts Germany’s D-Motor TV show. D-Motor’s hosts competed against Top Gear last year.

Recently Tim prepared an Aston Martin V8 Vantage for the 2009 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race. The German DMAX television channel aired a 6 part documentary on his adventure, however it was only broadcast in German. Thanks to the hard work of some of our forum members though, it is now available with English subtitles. If you’d like to watch this great little documentary, you can find a torrent right here.

Murphy's law really comes into play. Anything that can happen will happen. Finished the entire season in one shot..haha..

There are 6 episodes to this 'saga' so far. Indeed for those who wanna mod cars...hear this: Tim Shrick is using half his inheritance to buy n build an aston martin race car...... thats one dedicated racer.. I felt his pain/stress during the build phase just watching those videos
