As slots are limited to the first 20 cars, please register early to avoid disappointment!

Singapore 489947
Attention: Jeffrey Keng (Phuket Drive)

2. Unrest in south Thailand
Participating members are expected to make their own assessment of the political situation in Southern Thailand. Our current feedback from onsite assessment is that the security situation is normal in this part of the country.

3. Children
Due to the length of the drive the event is not appropriate for very young children. Please make your own considerations. If child participation is desired, we recommend that they join us in Phuket by air transport.

4. Car Insurance
The Club will organize and pay for 3rd party insurance for cars entering Thailand.
You may also want to arrange your own extended comprehensive insurance cover of the car in Thailand.

5. Registration Closure.
The registration for this event will close on ( 21th April 2011) or the first 20 cars!

6. Enquiries
Please email to jeff.keng@tractioncircle.com or jonathan.teoh@tractioncircle.com if you require information or clarifications.

7. Noteworthy Points

(Mechanical Worthiness)
As we will be covering an estimated 3000km during this drive, ALL CARS will need to undergo a compulsory mechanical inspection with your own workshop. Participant need to produce a receipt as proof that you have done a mechanical inspection with a compulsory new engine oil change. Receipt are to be submitted during the briefing at a date that will be notify to all participants. This is to ensure that all vehicles are in good condition prior to the drive. Modifications to your vehicle in the week leading up to this trip is highly discouraged.

(Petrol)
Petrol in Thailand is limited to RON91 and gasohol RON95. It is advised that you have your car tuned appropriately.(example reduce ignition advance) if you have tuned for RON98. Alternatively, bring lots of octane booster along.

(Tyres)
New or tyres with at least 75% remaining thread-thickness are recommended. Please only fit STREET tyres. The recent rains in south Thailand can make conditions treacherous if your tyres are unsuitable.

(Ground clearance)
Road conditions in Thailand vary, and cars with low ground clearance are advised to have this adjusted (higher).
