Yeah, looks like BMW is picking up the trend... Guess it's all in the name of better emissions and fuel consumption.

On the side note, the fitting a I-6 in the current Z4 with it's super elongated bonnet leaves quite an amount of space... I wonder how would a I-4's engine bay look on the Z4.

I think we can fit a BBQ grill in there man! ahhaha

i think its not gonna replace the engine in the 320 ... its probably going into the 325 and up with the 6 potter

hmmm. F20 gonna have the 1.6T in the 116 and 118.

F10 520 and 528 gonna have the 2.0T.

wonder if we'll have the 1.6T in the F30? 316 and 318. probably the 2.0T in the 320 and 328.

If the 1.6T goes into the 3er, I might be disappointed.

But the Merc C180 (1.8T) is a nice engine.

BMW can share the same unit from Mini. 1.6L TC produces 260NM torque.

260NM looks sweet. Maybe... there will be a 316/318, and a 325/328 with 2.0 TC
