Taking out the resonator for Z4.

Just wanna know will there be any loss in hp and torque if I take out the resonator in the Z4 ??

Cuz I jus installed the Eisenmann Race spec without taking the resonator out....doesn't sound that loud like what ppl say(can hear only the engine sound over 3500rpm)

+ For the straight pipe to go over the resonator (I didn't buy their soundpipes from Eisenmann), should it be the same diameter as the standard pipe from the cat??

Just cut the resonator out together with the cats and replace with similar diameter pipes. Don't worry about power loss or anything, there is still a lot of exhaust resistance from the pre cats in the exhaust manifold. Basically, there will be no gains or loss with any aftermarket exhaust system if you don't replace the headers.

The Remus box gets rid of the resonator. I'm surprised the Eisemann kit retains the resonator. Maybe thos ang mohs have senstitive ears. I think my Remus is softer than any Evo in Singapore. Loud is Apexi N1!

Ur Remus rear box + DeCat = Loud ......but nice loud.

I know ppl have been saying that it is very loud, but then I think they mean "loud" with taking off the resonator. My exhaust sound is quite loud and bassy only at low rev, which ppl say that Eisenmann should have raspy sort of sound...

Let's c what it sounds like when I take off the resonators...
