Taiwan replica rims

I am thinking of getting a set of rims which are easier to maintain, such as the M6 replica rims with darker paint colour on the innder sides of the rim.

Previously my view with Taiwan rims are that they are heavy and poor in quality until today when I visited a shop. I noticed on the contrary they are actually very well machined, and light too. Not sure about their durability. Shop said they are as durable as Jap/european cast rims.

Thoughts?

The rims on my previous ride is also made in Taiwan replica. I hv no issues with it.

There was a previous discussion on this maybe a couple years' back and I think the conclusion is they are ok for day to day driving.

Actually a lot of ur high end rims american one also made in taiwan or china one..

And itsactually very good quality..

Autobacs offer me 18' with korean tyres $2480 , very chio chio rims !

but sherman from infratint recommend TS a shop along yishun to sembawang..

ABD, I used to be on replica taiwan rims also. I think for normal driving, they are ok. But if touch wood got serious, you know, very very serious kind of boomz, then hmmm...that one must cross finger liao.

jackie, my take is that buying replica rims are ok. But don't play play with tyres. I don't know what korean tyres you are talking about, but you better check it out man. My 20 cents.

Bro,I've been using that exact set of rims for over 3 months liao. so far so good but 3mths a bit hard to tell durability.

Bought it on the spot cos I was impressed by the weight for that price. got a feeling we are referring to the same shop kekeke....
