Supersprint Exhaust System

Hi there!

2 days back i heard totoseow's car with the SS system and boy was i blown away. Louder than a ferrari.. ;/ So last couple of days, i've been looking around at exhaust systems. At first i wanted to get just the Meisterschaft Ti muffler and be done with it but i've come across the full SS exhaust system for the E46 M3. Got a couple of questions tho..

1) Do our EU-spec cars have the same exhaust system as the US-spec ones? Headers -> Section 1 -> Section 2 -> Muffler..

2) I think the ultimate system would be "SS Headers -> SS S-Pipe (no cat. covtrs.) -> SS X-Pipe (no resonator) -> SS Race Muffler".. is this right??

3) Will i pass LTA? Okay nvm i know the answer is no i think.. How do i pass then? Do i have to perform the complete swap EVERYTIME i have to go for inspection?

Bro, it is not Totoseow's exhaust alone that is causing the racket. He must have explained the source of the loudness keke.

SS exhaust is known for its silent qualities.

SS US spec headers will not work for our RHD cars due steering shafts in place.

I'm actually looking at the SS Race version.. I think that is pretty loud.. is it not..? Sorry i'm not too sure! ;-P

Not sure if that is the Ultimate but for sure alot of people in the US has that set up..

Eisenmann Maestercraft Ti is nice...
A gd friend of mine is using it now...huge tips and super light but damn expensive..

bro,

meisterschaft ti or gruppem ti?

is the ss race louder/deeper than the meisterschaft ti?

I hv listened to GruppeM too and it's friggin loud and too droning....
Think there are couple of M3s running ard with that exhaust, silver color one..

Never listen to the SS Race before..

SS header will not fit your car unless u r driving a LHD vehicle.

SS do not have a header for RHD car. The steering column is in the way.

Also, u do not need to get the mid section from SS. Any reputable exhaust shop in Singapore can do the straight pipes for u.

In any case, the M3 already has a very nice header and u can just concentrate removing the cat and get a rear muffler.

Last but not least, the Eisseman is really loud...

The Supersprint isn't tat loud on M3. There is a Phoenix Yellow one running on it..

Ok then, i'd prefer something loud..

I'm leaning towards the Meisterschaft but they're US$500 more and backordered for 6 more months..

The Supersprint isn't tat loud on M3. There is a Phoenix Yellow one running on it..

Right, now I recall who u r talking bout but I believe his is just regular SS which aint loud and not the SS Race type...hmm...

thanks for the offer bro, i think i am getting a meisterschaft ti, everyone is recommending that. it's ok i think i can get quite a new price on brand new cause of sponsored pricing.. hehe. bro let me know if you looking at anything i can check it out for ya. ;-)

hi..bro..for mi i tink Supersprint exhaust is quite loud n sharp, cos i m having it on my E36, so if u like loud exhaust tis is the One.

2) Remove your resonators
3) Replace all piping to 3" stainless steel

After that, any aftermarket muffler will be loud. If you want even louder, forget the muffler and weld 3" pipes from front to rear ending with your quad exhaust tips. Confirm you will be the loudest E90 320 in Singapoore with quad exhaust.

Maybe even loudest in the world...

i tried that for 24 hours and i cannot stand it... my car sounds louder than anything i ever heard... i cant even go home.. park at nearby car park and walk home... too paiseh to neighbout
