Re: Superione - Anyone knows about this product?

Sounds like snake oil to me.

Re: Superione - Anyone knows about this product?

Re: Superione - Anyone knows about this product?

Actually i beg to defer leh....

I replaced my Ecotek with 2 superior one some 2 years back since it is easier, without having to tune the Ecotek every now and then and it has since been in my car till now. Just serviced it 2 months back by taking out the small sponge inside the valve and wash it.

My fuel economy consistently running between 9.3L/100km to 11L/100km depending on my driving style. I have Brouquet B-40 in my car also though.

Don't expect miracles but it does make slight improvement...

:)

The way it works is by leaning out the air-fuel mixture since the valve is installed after the MAF before the throttle body.

Piggy, I'd think you could look at it in two alternate ways:

(1) Given the cost, and on hindsight, would you do these mods again given another chance?

(2) Even if you have installed them without much complaints, would you still recommend some forumers to do it?

Re: Superione - Anyone knows about this product?

Hitmee, I think u mis-read wor....

It's 9.3L/100km, not 9.3km/ Litre... My full tank can clock 500km before warning light comes on.

Well I dunno how much they selling the SuperiorOne now but if i remembered correctly, should be ard 100 plus ? If that's the price, i would think that in long run, it's worth it.

As for the Brouquet, I mentioned in another thread before that it's more for performance and the ability to use lower grade petrol (like when we cross the causeway) that makes it more worthwhile than to install for fuel saving as a B40 costs like $400 and the breakeven point is too high.

Cheers

Re: Superione - Anyone knows about this product?

what??

9.3L/100km is damn good lor. mine's a lighter stick shift car with same engine but FC is 10.5L/100km..... and i thought it was pretty good already.

hmm, just installed my Helene Performance air filter. Promises better fuel consumption amongst other stuff like sound, power, filtration etc.... hopefully that will bring my fuel consumption down to your level!

how much is superione anyway?

Re: Superione - Anyone knows about this product?

2000cc car is 300 + 100 = $400.

for ur 325 i belive will be more.

Re: Superione - Anyone knows about this product?

$400 ???????

So expensive.... Then don't waste time and money....

Ya lor, $400!?
Assume you use $300 gas a month, and assume this thing save you 10%, means $30/month; for $400, takes more than a year to break even ... do the math, not worth it lah.
