(1) Anyone knows the auto-trans torque tolerance for the N46B20 block? Else, this will simply for manual-trans cars. For stage 3, it will be a jump of 50 horses, and the torque increment? Piang !!!

(2) Stage Two is equivalent to swapping a M54B22 block onto your engine, in power terms. The M54B22 is probably cheaper, legality aside.

but why go for b22 when you can go for b30?

still NA and still reliable without going the aftermarket FI route...

one more thing... is that the intercooler on top? hood can close meh?

pic looks a little wierd, like photoshopped..There is no way the intercooler can fit between the engine and the hood. Also with the intercooler on top of the oil filter, how to change the filter? Need to remove everything.

But if they solved the air control problem for the valvetronic engines then this is a good start for more torque. Anyway, the blow off valve will create a heck of a lot of emissions cos the ECU will read alot of air flowing through the air mass sensor.

B30 will be too much for the gearbox lah.........

I think "Ah Ma" racing would actually suit them more. The England a bit, um, jialat. May be Taiwanese or Chinese company - site is also offered in Chinese.

Wonder if they did any endurance testing like the folks at AC and Breyton do. The reason why BMW themselves chose the aluminium M54 block for the 335 was because they felt the magnesium N52 block was not strong enough. Which is probably the same reason the more established tuners have not done any FI for the N52 engines even though the engines been around for a long time.

but that will also bust the budget...

aiyah, buy 330 lah. solves all the problems...

For ther new E90s (lesser variety type) they are equipped with the 6HP-19 gear boxes. these go to 400Nm. For the fire breathing 335s, they should be fitted with the 6HP-26 that goes to 600Nm..

I think most of us are running ZF 6HP19TU which shares same rating at ZF 6HP21..... on paper 450 NM, but most of us have exceeded 550-600 NM.....

The DCT is rated 650 NM......

6HP-19 400N.m 72-77kg
6HP-26 600N.m 84-89kg
6HP-32 750N.m 99kg

2nd Generation Torque Weight
6HP-21 450N.m 73.5-78kg
6HP-28 700N.m 92.5kg
(6HP-34) 850N.m 99kg

U can try asking Bernard (BVO). Was speaking with him a couple of months ago and he actually saw the SC for this in a trade fair. He told me, at that time, a version 2 of it.
