My 10-disc changer cassette can't seem to eject. I brought it to the neighbourhood car audio shop and the guy says i have to change the whole thing. or bring it in to PML. either way, i'll be ripped off. any clues on a better solution?
one other way is post at the bazaar section, like WTB XXYY stuff, maybe some the bros there upgraded thier ice to after market brand than you should be in luck.
went to a few car audio shops. the unscrupulous ones said they had to replace the whole cd player. costs $800. finally found a friendly audio place that dismantled the set and sent it to the a technician for fixing. the total bill: $60.
repaired and reinstalled the cd player today. works like a charm. the owner gave a $10 discount. so total bill: $50. small but very friendly audio shop just off sixth avenue, next to canadian pizza. look for ah wei.
