hi there, accidentally found this website and it's great for anyone who would like some comments. wish i found this website when i get 318i sports last sep. great stuff and information!

anyway, since i got the car, i heard a slight noise everytime when there's slight bump on the road, as if something is loose. I can't really locate the noise but it's coming somewhere from left passenger seat to boot region.

just wondering if there's anyone else has experienced this, esp those recently got the 318i sports.

Also, i'm coming to the 15K mark soon and due for servicing. If I don't go to PML for servicing, is my warranty void?

thanks in advance... :)

hey there,

my experience is with the 320.

I hear a few rattles when I'm going over rough road patches. One sound seems to come from the reading light for passengers in the back seat (OK, not sure if the 318 comes with that though).

The other rattle seems to come from the seat belt for the middle seat in the back. It's hooked to that little holder up near the headrest.

The last rattle seems to come from the 3rd brake light in the back, but not really sure.

It annoys me more when i'm riding in the back. When I'm driving I blast the radio too loud to notice that many rattles

1st of all, welcome to the forum!! Glad that u manage to find us online!!

With regards to your problem, I think i have faced it as well, and it turned out that its my rear left shock absorber that gave way. Just bring the CSA out for a run and ask him to hear the sound! He would then be able to change it under warranty.

Warranty won't be void if u go outside cuz they won't have any records but why do that if u have a car that u paid warranty for?

My general ramblings... :silenced:
