been havin a vibratin steering wheel prob. for a while, esp at high speed. between 140-150+, when it hits 160, things smoothen out...

was gonna bring it for high speed balancing but never had the time to do so,
but recently been noticing that when i do a right bend along expressways, the steering wheel starts to vibrate as well...

prob. bring it down somewhere to check this wkend (as well as install my new parts) , but anyone has any idea why this might be happening?

your steering control arm bushing are probably worn... check your suspension bushings as well...

mmm ok, the control arm bushings were changed to oem E30 M3 units some months back, but will check the other suspension bushings.... any other stuff to look out for?

thnx :)

ermm... sometimes if you rim is ovalized it will also cause this problem. mostly likely it is a bushing problem. If you hear a humming noise at speed, then you will need to change your wheel bearings as well..
