steering and automatic headlight Qns

Hi,


I am confuse...my steering wheel used to move up when i off my E60 engine and move down when i on engine. b ut now it does not do that anymore. May i know is it that i turn off this function accidentally? Also if i switch the headlight to auto, iy will automatic on in dark area and off in bright area right?

There is a small lever on the left of the steering. Push it up and down few times and then bring the strewing wheel to it's normal position. This will sovereign the issue. Somehow the thing looses it's stored position after some time.

Hi actually my steering was adjusted all the way up so it will not move up further or down when i take out my key haha...as for the headlight i try a few more times and realise that the auto ON is very fast once in enter dark area, but when going into bright area, it will take a while for the light to go OFF. So i guess its fine...

Terras u are right, when going into the sun the auto headlight doesn't go off so soon, unlike certain makes. I read some postings before that the purpose is to protect the life of the HID.
