Squeaky sound from E60 seat

Any of you here had this problem? When you are driving, there a squeaky sound that comes from the section where the backrest joins with the seating section ( Behind the bum area) on the extreme right ?

It seems to be comming from a part inside the black plastic cover. I've tried spraying some Sillcon spray inside but this hasnt help.

Its really irritating and would appreciated if anybody here has a solution or could point me in the right direction to get it fixed.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Squeaky sound from E60 seat

I seem to have narrowed the problem down to the plastic cover for the railings of the front seats connected to the chassis of the car. When i raise the seat, the sound disappears. When the seat is lowered, it comes in contact with this plastic cover and when the car rolls over a bump or if you shift around in the seat, it makes this squeeky sound. Will try to have a better look this weekend and try to spray some sillicon to lubricate or tighten any screws that i can find.

Problem is actually the cover for the right railing of the drivers seat connected to the body of the vehicle. Just sprayed some sillicon and stuffed a small piece of paper to put some tension on the piece and it has worked liked a charm so far.
