Hmmm. saw some spy shots of the 3 series coupe-cabriolet in CAR magazine... very hard to guarge the looks but doesnt look that great. Still like the slim boot (hate the fat bumps on the merc, saab, volvo drop tops..)

Apparently there will be both soft top and coupe-cabriolet versions.....

which issue of CAR? I've got the Oct 04 issue and there isn't any pics of the coupe-cab... only a little blurb on the E90... Unless me blind! 8)

Its the Nov 04 issue bro... looking at it again... I can imagine a hint of merc SL / CL in the rear-boot shape... :thinking:

Its the latest copy of car.. maybe the Nov 04 issue. the one with the M5 on the front cover. IMHO the new CC looks quite good... the lines of the car are not spoilt by the soft top.

Yup spot on! But too camouflouged up to really discern, but agree the shape is still sleek and nice. Luckily they didnt go the "big butt" way of merc/Saab/volvo..
