Speed camera at Upper Thomson?

There is an overhead bridge along Upper Thomson Road, between AMK Ave 1 and Thomson Plaza.

Last Saturday, I was going at 70km/h, and saw 1 white ant and 1 blue ant on the bridge smiling at me with their cameras; have absolutely no idea what is the speed limit there....

Reason why I am so concerned is that I was running a high fever at that time and the last thing I was looking out for was our friendly neighbourhood white ants.
Just check and TP website says I "have no outstanding summons".

Does it mean I'm safe?

Hope some kind souls can make my feverish heart feel better. Thanks in advance for the advices.

Within a week u dun get anything........ you are safe....
If i'm not wrong, Sat if kenna candid camera.... you would be able to see it so fast on the website.....

But I felt quite "wei qu" because I was runnning 39.8 degrees fever and driving my kid and sister home, and was driving like a snail. If like that still ganna speed summon, very "yuan wang" ah.....

at first letter of warning..
many ppl turn from AMK to Thomson, will speed up like me to avoid fast car coming along Upp Thomson..then next thing u see r those bllody "ants"!
but if yr record is not so clean...meaning already got letter b4 in past 12 mths along there...
good luck. But then again at 70? they wont bother you. But how do u know u r on 70?
i tot i was on 85, but letter say i travel at 93!!!

Try telling that to the Officer at Appeal section, he'll simply reply...

" If u say u was running a fever of 39.8..why were u driving around with your kid n sister ?
In fact, we may even considering throwing in another charge of dangerous driving under unsafe condition...endangering fellow road users and passengers... "

Yrs truly kena one 2 years ago. They operate on that o/h bridge usually when weather is cooler, in morning or evening.

These days they become so kaisu they even squat down n 'hide' behind the low tree branches. NBB I am gonna recall my platoon of demolition bengs and blow up that damn bridge.

60kmh is the limit BTW, right outside Pearce Sec School.

relax lah... default speed limit on main roads is 70kmh. on side roads it's 60kmh. this is what i can remember from basic theory.

i know cos i kenna eff-ed by my driving instructor - scolded me for driving too slowly... but that was very long ago. not likely to happen nowadays unless something is very wrong with my car...

it takes 2 working days for traffic offences to be updated online. check 2 days after... and don't hang out at the AXS stations, robot...

this stretch of upper thomson speed limit is 60. I knew it for a FACT because I already got a letter and I was at 70 only!

I think both of you are right, letter of warning only. Because TP website says 4 Demerit Points only applies to "Exceeding speed limit of vehicle by up to 20km/h." Nothing mentioned about >10km/h

I see, I never knew they are there because I don't take that route often. Only took it that day because CTE was all jammed up....
