SPC giving 12% at BT branch

i normally pumped v power but that one time my tank was near empty and i just thought what the heck so i pumped a full tank of spc.

my mileage went up from average of 12l/100km to about over 13 and i didnt do any real different driving that week.
there was also a noticeable drop off in response/ torque.

On the matter of petrol... I now feel that mobil 8000 is better than Shell 98, not just once but since i am on mobil 8000 regularly now, everytime i pump shell 98, the car not as torquey... Anyone got the same feeling ?? Or think otherwise ???

I definitely felt the difference between Shell V-Power and Caltex Platinum. Platinum gave my car more kick! :thinking:

i got it last weekend. expiry date is end feb.

Bros/Sisters,

Juz pump full tank 60litres at SPC @ Bukit Timah branch (former BP station, small size, after Balmoral rd before Keng Chin Rd towards Jurong direction) with 12% discount (no need sticker). Outside the station, they still show 5% only. Check with the counter staff and they told me they were instructed by the HQ to do this. I guess they don't want others to follow suit.
