I had posted a car forsale ad at SG carmart, and listed both my phone number and e-mail as contact info. Obviously the idea was so that whomever was interested would be able to contact me (doh!)
A few days ago, however, someone used the info and decided to SPAM me. :furious: Below is a copy of the e-mail I received.
I have no idea who they are and the quality of their work, but I don't think we should reward people for bad behavior (ie. abusing public e-mail info for spamming). Therefore, I am posting their company name here for the benefit of others. Whether you want to do business with them or not, that's your decision, but at least you know their attitude towards personal privacy.
Fortunately, I had sent up an e-mail alias, anticipating some boneheads like below. I highly recommend your doing so when you make your e-mail available for public viewing to avoid spam.
