on wet concrete roads when your dry tyres loses traction which i believe is what's happening here does slip and jutter due to losing and regaining traction..

so what you're feeling now are gentle hops? like what the kind of feel you get when the ABS comes in?

maybe your description's vague. but this is what i've gathered.

Yes! You have kinda described the feeling, but with mine, there are accompanying sounds. Not loud, but certainly audible. Maybe it's the sound of the rubber on the surface??

Izzit normal?? I've never had the sounds happen with any other car (although they also had ABS).

Maybe I should switch the ASC off and see if the sound still occurs.

What do you advise.

It is the ASC.

Dude

It's normal, cos you've got quite good low-end torque and the ASC kicked in.

Try to observe your instrument panel and the yellow light at the centre shd flicker momentarily when ASC kicks in (unless you turn it off by choice)

If you switch it off, it will light up continuously to tell you have NO ASC!

Try it again and feedback.

If you wanna try it without ASC, MAKE SURE you are in a safe open area for margin of error.

Cheers! :wavey:

Thanks....it's a relief to know it's normal. :)

You folks have been very helpful.

Will give it another try and revert....

DSC

That is where you can test the DSC - on slippery surface and see how it works, make sure car is straight and you have enough safe space and see the DSC/ASC-T light blink to cut off the slippage

The sounds you are hearing are caused by the ASC cutting power to the engine and braking... I think...
