i dun blame the workshop. who do not want to earn more money?
i blame LTA for not having a better system and standard to control the situation.
i blame the insurance company too for taking advantage of the consumers.
yes, bro.
its easier said than done.
this is like asking restaurants all over the world to remove sharks fin off their menus, in order to save the sharks.
Its a tough call when u r presented with the opportunity of 'upgrading' to a better bodykit, paid for by 'someone else', since they bang you, so they pay.
and u would wonder if u hadn't taken up the offer, someone else will, and will your integrity have made a difference at all? since so many accidents happen every day.....
well, to me, by doing the right thing, even if the difference is insignificant, it is good enough.
because I have done my part. Clear conscience.
ha, i always remember a friend who says. Man is doing, Heaven is watching.
LTA has been monitoring the situation, as now there are so new rules in place; having to report the accident within 24 hours to your insurer etc, to stem the damage done by these pirates.
and insurance companies do not take advantage as well, the industry is well regulated and MAS knows how the companies determine the premiums.
It is well documented that the motor insurance industry is bleeding every year, for many years.
companies exist to make a living, not charity.
if the entire industry goes bust, everyone else along the chain suffers.
just my 2 cents.
