Re: Some pics of 335i coupe in stock form

Ive said it before, and I'll say it again until you guys understand

defintion of a low car

park your car on the side of an ant hill, put your picnic rug on other side of car, if ants have to walk around your car, your car is proerly lowered, if they can walk under it, your car is not low enough

Slam it Hitmee

Re: Some pics of 335i coupe in stock form

i understand lowered car with BIG wheels always give it a fierce look. but it take BIG courage to DO IT and lived with the inconvenience.

maybe some who luv it would say, NO PAIN NO GAIN. GAIN SOME, LOSE SOME.

Good analogy!

some cars look good slammed. For the Honda Civic, and almost any car with white sidewalls for tyres. Any car which lies back reclining. Looks relaxed type of car. But the 335 is a cab forward look, tilted forward, ass up. All ASS UP cars look crap when slammed or lowered significantly.

Worse, the slab-like sides of the 335i are too large for tyres even at 21". The illusion of even larger size when it is not slammed, improves this.

Re: Some pics of 335i coupe in stock form

The drop in our ride has to factor in serious practical considerations in day-to-day driving in our local context.

First, blame all the multistorey carparks (slopes at entry and exit points) and the road-humps. Are these humps (especially at the entry points) necessary? I have not been able to drive into some of these shopping centres comfortably. It has become somewhat of a hassle.

Second, blame all the cheapo construction companies which has undertaken governmental projects. They have poor follow-up on the roads leading to the project. The major junction in front of Suntec is a classic example. If your car is lowered with coilovers, I dare you to drive past that junction without slowing down. Farked up conditions.

The road leading to suntec is a freaking nightmare! Almost bottom out the 1st time I notice the damn hump!!!!!

Re: Some pics of 335i coupe in stock form

For some of these road unevenness or bumps, you can actually write in to complain to LTA and they will have it rectified.
