SINGAPORE: An SMRT train was vandalised at the Bishan MRT Depot earlier this week.

Police said they received a call on 5 May at 6.17am requesting for assistance at the depot located along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.

It is the second time SMRT trains at Bishan Depot have been vandalised. The first time was in August 2011.

SMRT confirmed that one of its trains was vandalised.

It has made a police report and is helping police with investigations.

So there was no trespassing but there was vandalism... wtf!

No tespassing cause the culprit is an authorised personnel to enter the site.
Vandalism is defaced because property defaced is govt property. What are the things in the SMRT depot that belong to the govt? SMRT is privately owned, shouldnt it be mischief instead? Vandalism gets the cane de wor.

Am sure SPF wont act so swiftly as the vandalised trains probably did not have the "F$#k the PAP" message on it. Else sure catch the culprit in 2 days.
