Hi all,

I was just curious if its possible to fit BMW SMG I / II or DSG into jap cars?
Will LTA approve??
Actually I'm thinking of doing it for my 350z. Had to get auto cos sister can't drive manual.
Sick and tired of the stock auto transmission.

i think the answer is a no, physical fitment aside, there's also electronic programming to work out. i don't suppose you're using a standalone ecu for the fairlady right?

perhaps get a sequential shift manual instead?

Nope, the car is fully stock and boring... how does this sequential shift manual works? sounds very interesting. Is it like the RS4 manual whereby the engine has so much torque, u just dump the clutch and go?
