You might find this interesting. Online reviews say that the speedo readings on the iPhone match the car speedo readings quite accurately, so this thing is apparently quite good. Anyway it's just $12+.

Hahahaha.. to check the calibration try this. Accelerate to 80 kmh and just hold. When Dynolicious stops clocking, check to see that the dial reads 50 mph. Mine seems to be off.. not sure by how much because I did only one run so far.
Also make sure that the road is PERFECTLY flat! If the road goes uphill the indicated speed will be too low, if downhill the indicated speed will be too high. I found that out by tilting the iphone at various angles and shaking it forward and backward (it uses the Z-axis on the iPhone accelerometer).
I wish there's one that uses GPS as well. That would be more accurate.
