Slight Fogging in Main Headlights

Hi Guys, Greetings,

Just want to find out if any new owners find slight condensation / fogging inside the main headlights after driving through wet weather with the head lights On.

Occurs mainly at the edges (in both lights) and it evaporates after 10 minutes or so.

Had this in my last new Jap ride before, wonder if this is just common or it warrants a replacement .

Its common. I've seen it in all my BMWs that I've owned so far. My current 545 had this condensation that stayed on for 48 hours or so. Reported the matter to PML who initially indicated that they'd change it for me but changed their mind at the last moment as they felt it would not obstruct normal working conditions of the lights.

I guess as long as it doesn't affect the life span of the lights, it's OK.
