Actually, there is an element of truth in this, and across all cohorts too. The ultra rich definitely loves our tax regime. The poorest certainly will not be the worst here. The middle class suffers everywhere nonetheless.
The other litmus test is on other races vis-a-vis their counterparts in other countries. Example, our Malay compatriots versus Malays in Malaysia and our Indian citizens versus Indians in India. And I think we know the answer.
The main issue not covered by the survey is the responses from Chinese immigrants from China, HK, Taiwan and Singapore living in USA, Canada, Europe and Australia. How will the numbers fare?
