Hi everybody,
If you are considering changing air filter, you can try this workshop at sin ming.
The air filter is made of fibreglass and cost $480.00.
I got it changed yesterday and pick up improved by at least 15%. It sound great.
The workshop is call SUPREME MOTORWORKS, they have all type of air filter and they specialize in modifying exhaust.

i got mine for $400.
is carbon fiber, not fibreglass

or are we talking about the same thing?

bro, my advise is to just go grab a good aftermarket air filter, e.g. K&N replacement air filter.
Change ur stock air filter to K&N one, cheap n good. Performance guarantee!

Damage is prob. around 100plus sing., much cheaper than the simota one.
Save extra juice for other mods.

used so many CAI before and i can tell u this. keep to stock box and go for helene performance airfilter. Besides for your 320i, u will suffer from quite a bit of backpressure loss with an open pod airfilter.

elmariachi, i also think so. But too bad there is no HP filter for E46 318 Valtronic Engine ...

i find gruppeMs version of the valvetronic is very good. The design is similar to that of a stock box. PM wilman for more info. He brings them in.

..this is my simota, sound good, gain some power due to open pod but dun think it gain as high as 15%. only confirm got it less than $480
