hi, just curious, is the Silencer( the box after the muffler) also restrictive??? :thinking:

snowman,

Not too sure what you are referring to. The metal box which the exhaust tips are attached to is commonly called the muffler or silencer box.

huh? oki, looking from the rear, muffler====silencer=====cat====header

===: refering to pipe

i am refering to the SILENCER( or did i call it wrongly????).

TIA :)

it's a cross pipe. mainly to sync your exhaust pulses. it's too small to be an effective silencer.

oh... but izzit very restrictive inside?? any gain if i operate the internal and make it straight tru??? TIA :)

Snowman,

I think u r better off taking the cat than to take out the mid silencer. That will give u more torque and revv will climb faster.

U don have to bother operating the silencer unless u so wish, just remove it. Like u said, it's only a silencer, to reduce noise only.
