signal light blink during lock/unlock

hi, currently my 318's signal lights blink whenever a lock the doors. however, when unlocking it doesn't.

i checked the forums and from one of the documents posted, it is supposed to be able to blink when locking and unlocking doors.

but when i check with PML, they say only lock can have signal light blink. unlock cannot. just want to check if this is true? :thinking: thank u!

I have the same reply from PML too.

Well, at least now I know that I have locked the door upon signal light blink (This is more important in my opinion).

As for unlock door since the interior light will be on should be fine.

Let see what other bothers say

mine doesnt blink and i m thinkin of gettin them to blink. How much does PML charge... anyone can advise ? thanks.

The signal will only double blink on unlock when u have got the factory alarm, else it will only blink on locking....

those who wish to do it can go to any workshop with Modic or equilvalent, like PML, BVO, riverview etc and get them coded. it's simply going to the menu and choosing the correct options. the workshops will of course charge something like $30-$60 for use of their machine since it cost too bloody much to acquire.
