Side windows dip when reversing

This isn't really a complaint. I was just surprised to see that my 320i's side windows' dip when I reverse, i.e they angle downwards so that I can better see the ground/tyres etc. Is that normal? I'm not quite used to it (never having driven a BMW before) so I'm not sure. Is there a way to disable it? I can't find this issue in the manual.

Any ideas?

Hi Jase, I think you mean the side 'mirrors' dip. Yes that is normal when your mirror adjustment selector is switched left. If you it is switched right, it will not dip, an option for you to use if necessary. Cheers!

think Jase's a E90 so he shd be switching the selector to passenger side (left) to off, and driver side (right) to on the dipping. IMO, i prefer it on...can see parking lines better.

Whoops! I got the wrong side, thanks for correcting me. Me too prefer with it on. Thanks.
