Sibeh tulan encounter with Camry uncle!

I was on driving thru the estate jus now, turning into a road and there was an uncle in a black Camry driving toward me head on. As usual, there are cars parked aling one lane and left with one lane(my lane) to all vehicle to go thru. The uncle refused to back down n both of us jus stopped in the middle of the road for abt one... I finally beh tahan and walked toward him n told him off tt I have the right to the road, and he is on my lane. Uncle talked back loudly tt he came to my lane first, and purposely stopped there and pointed to a space tt said I shld drive into the space to let him thru!! @!*#!! I can't believe tt there is such driver who is totally ignorant of the traffic rule n yet expecting pp to give in to him!! Sibeh tulan, sensing this uncivilized uncle will not back down n I was in the rush , I LL jus drove into the space and let him pass.

Wat will u do? I got his act captured on in-car video and lazy to post cos i dun want to reveal myself too...

Forget it lah. So you had the right of way... doesnt mean you cant give way right? Less stress.

I always ok to give way on the same road, I even in few occasion to reverse back to the road tt I came from. but never encountered someone so uncivilized like this, this uncld rather stopped in the middle of the road, stared at me, and expected me to drive into the space right next to his car so tt he can pass. Damn TL..

In your case, I would wait.

My estate is full of old farts and they are like that ..... If bored just drag a fag while waiting.....it drives them crazy. Some may be stubborn and you may finish an entire box before he decides that he needs to go to the toilet ........

Bro,

so you walked over to kaopeh,
so you received his nonsense,
so you then gave in and drove sideways,
and you felt TL for the rest of the day or maybe perhaps the rest of the year too
then you came here to post and people say forget it.

You already wasted so much of your emotions already over somebody who clearly would exhibit the same behavior in the supermarket, in the public toilet, queueing up for the prawn noodles.

Conclusion: Not worth it. forget it. if still not happy? drive to same place again on a day you are free and wait for that uncle and engage in the same situation and then leave the car in the middle of the road and run off to laosai. Let him reverse all the way back to get out and create a nuisance for others too. Yay!

Haha joke but i hope you see the point ( it's useless to get angry over this kind of things, whether right of way or not. Heaven consent or not) Enjoy your day! =)

I encountered same thing but blocking me was a police car!

i waited n he waited. I finally drove into a small space to let him pass as I am a good citizen. He drove by slowly n showed me faces n gesticulated something while "swearing" something. I reversed abit n we both stopped. I came out n confronted him about his "swearing" at me n said I would lodge a complaint to the Commissioner of Police, pointing to my in car camera n drove off.

when there is one lane left, it becomes a shared lane. whoever has gap to move aside to let the other past should prevail over the right of way rule

Seriously useless advice: don't buy house where people park along the road instead of in their driveway.

Less useless advice: give way and let live ba. How much longer do you think the old fart has left on earth? He was obviously in a hurry to maximize his remaining days. Think that way, you feel a bit more song and less dulan.

I always believe in paying it forward. There will be aholes and there will be nice people. I'd rather be that nice person.

No harm in just driving into any available space so everyone can get through instead of getting fussed over who has the right of way.
